Wordle and blogs

Wordle

I like using Worlde and have seen wordles on Greetings  cards, chopping boards and posters.

I have also used Tagxedo on my home pc. This produces word pictures in shapes such as trees and  birds.

I was really interested in learning about the snipping tool . This makes Wordles easy to use on posters and cards. It  will save me time cropping screen shots.  Microsoft Office 2010 products have a screen clipping tool on the Insert menu.

Blogs

I like the relaxed writing style bloggers have. If I do a Google search, and a blog is listed on the first page, I’ll usually have a look.  Interesting blogs I have found this way are one by Martin Eve on Starting an Open Access journal  https://www.martineve.com/2012/07/10/starting-an-open-access-journal-a-step-by-step-guide-part-1/

and a the LSE Library’s Digital Developments at LSE blog.http://lselibrarydigidev.blogspot.co.uk/2013_09_01_archive.html

The Health Services Library has a new blog HSL Update http://blog.soton.ac.uk/hsl/

I have created my blog . I like the Appearance but may look later for a template with butterflies! I think I have added tags.
